Controlled
release
applications
for
cellulose
derivatives include the formulation of membrane
controlled drug release systems or monolithic matrix
systems. Film coating techniques for the manufacture
of membrane controlled release systems include
enteric coated dosage forms and the use of semi-
permeable membranes in osmotic pump delivery
systems.
