Duty of the dean of the faculty

Organization of activities and general management of the dean’s office, faculty and technical staff;

Ensuring the training of qualified personnel at the faculty, direct management of educational, methodological, scientific, spiritual and educational work, ensuring the implementation of state educational standards, curricula, training programs;

Organization and control over the development of training schedules, monitoring student performance and attendance, rating control, disciplinary control:

Preparation of project orders for transferring students from course to course

Preparation of orders for scholarships for students

Organization of the graduation work and participation in state certification

Search, identification and organization of individual, targeted events with supernormal students, their preparation for participation in subject Olympiads, competitions of various funds (including foreign ones)

Coordination of training of interns-researchers, advanced training of professors and teachers

Coordination and guidance of the preparation of textbooks, teaching aids related to the educational areas of the faculty

Ensuring the widespread introduction of new information technologies in the educational process, the acquisition of skills of new information technologies by teachers

Faculty scientific council management

organization and holding of scientific and methodological conferences, interagency meetings, seminars with the participation of teachers and students of the faculty on current issues (including news and scientific and technical developments in their field, socio-economic development of the country, etc.), dialogue (discussion) etc.

In collaboration with the university’s marketing service, study the current and future needs of specialties for training at the faculty, establish contacts with applicants, organizations, enterprises, institutions, regulate graduate employment opportunities (target contracts), and provide practical advice

Establishing partnerships with relevant higher and secondary specialized educational institutions and research institutions, including developed countries

Organization of additional educational services at the faculty (separately “Center”, “Course”, etc., which have their own account), attracting grants, investments, ensuring the active participation of teachers and students

Organization of educational work in student residence

Review of appeals within the scope of its powers

Must know

Knowledge of laws related to the activities of the faculty, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, decisions of the board of the Ministry of Higher Education, orders, orders of the rector of the University, annual and future plans of the University

Qualification requirements

Professional and organizational skills required for leadership positions in higher educational institutions, managerial and educational experience, relevant knowledge and skills within the scope of activities and competencies

One must have

Exemplary personal qualities - intelligence, culture, leadership, creative skills, politeness, organizational, initiative and entrepreneurial skills, sense of responsibility, independence in making decisions and actions, perseverance, ability to achieve strategic goals of the institution

The degree of doctor or candidate of science, Professor or associate Professor in one of the fields and specialties of the bachelor's and master's degrees in higher education

Must have at least 5 years of effective work experience at the faculty
