In the textbook "Geography of the Population" is a course of lectures of the 
academic  discipline  on  topics  of  theoretical  training  and  seminars.  The  textbook 
examines the basic concepts and terms of geography to the population, highlights 
geographic  patterns  of  the  population  of  the  Earth,  gives  spatial  and  temporal 
characteristics  of  the  natural  and  mechanical  movement  of  the  population.  The 
textbook  contains  a  large  amount  of  factual  material  (tables,  graphics,  maps), 
illustrating  the  territorial  heterogeneity  of  the  natural  movement,  composition, 
population  distribution.  For  each  paragraph,  glossaries  and  questions  for  self-
control are provided. 
 
The  textbook  is  intended  for  students-geographers  of  higher  educational 
institutions  in  the  directions  5140600  -  Geography,  specialty  5A140602-
Geography  (on  the  object  study),  5A140601-Economic  and  social  geography, 
5A140603-geodemographies  in  higher  education  institutions  of  the  Republic  of 
Uzbekistan.  It  can  be  useful  for  teachers  of  geography,  as  well  as  for  applicants 
who wish to pass an examination in geography.
