Location: Milpitas, CA
KLA-Tencor has existing intranet sites which are migrated to SharePoint 2007 environment. This is an intranet application allows the user to manage the Performance review process. Allow manager to add/update the objectives to his team, track the status of each team member in this process and implemented the automatic mailing system depending upon the status of review application will send mails to users .The project required design, development and content migration tasks. The Design Tasks included creating custom Master Pages, Page Layouts and other SharePoint branding tasks. Development tasks involved creating Web Parts, Custom Server Controls, Forms and Custom Workflows.
Responsibilities:

  • Worked on enhancing and upgrading existing SharePoint 2003 portal sites to new MOSS 2007 and prepared migration and upgrade plans.

  • Involved in setting up a staging environment to test the overall upgrade process from SPS 2003 to MOSS 2007.
