Jismoniy tarbiya va sportda ilmiy tadqiqot uslublari fanini o’qitishdan maqsad –talabalarda bo`lajak jismoniy tarbiya o`qituvchisiga kasbiy bilim, ko`nikma va malakalarga ega qilish. Mutaxassisligi bo`yicha ob`ektlar va jarayonlarning namunaviy modellari va ularni tadqiqot qilish metodikalarini o`rgatish, eksperimental tadqiqotlarni bajarishda qo`llaniladigan stendlar, zamonaviy apparaturalar va boshqa jihozlarni o`rgatish,eksperimental tadqiqotlarni o`tkazish, eksperimental tadqiqotlar natijalariga ishlov berish, ularni tahlil qilish, xulosalar chiqarish va tavsiyalarni ishlab chiqish kabi tushunchalar haqida bilimga ega bo’ladi.
