The purpose or objective of the oral presentation was per-
formed.
The introduction was lively and got the attention of the audi-
ence who provide organic commentaries on slides.
The main idea or topic sentences were clearly stated to-
wards the beginning.
The supporting points and evidences were: 
clearly expressed 
– supported well by evidences and facts.
The conclusion drawn returned back the main idea or pur-
pose. 
Delivery:
The presenter’s language was natural and fluent. 
The presenter’s tone and into nation of speech was appro-
priate. 
The presenter’s rate of speech and the number of words 
were appropriate. 
The presenter’s pronunciation was clear and comprehensi-
ble as well as intelligible.
The presenter’s grammatical competence was well devel-
oped.

What turn out being amazing about this app are 
related to its high flexibility with variety of educational 
contexts, especially, flipped classroom, avoiding ab-
senteeism, and creating collaboration work.
As we can see in this dashboard, main multimedia 
forms are audio and video recordings, uploading pic-
tures and commenting features. This can help us as-
sess students’ oral production. Because students can 
submit their oral responses in video and voice record-
ing formats for instructor-created media prompts and, 
especially, pictures. VoiceThread app is well fit with pic-
ture-cued speaking tasks since the instructors create 
the pictures that require students to tell a narrative by 
using audio or video functions (picture 3). This can help 
us elicit oral production. 
Oral presentation + VoiceThread
Another main speaking task that we can integrate 
with VoiceThread app is oral presentation task since 
VoiceThread enables us to create multiple slides. 
Students can be evaluated according to their oral 
presentational skills that they used to create effective 
slides with voice recording. This speaking task is typical 
university level assignment since in the academic and 
professional settings, it is common site to present a sci-
entific or industry reports, marketing plans, sales idea, 
research plans and design of a new method or process. 
For this kind of speaking tasks, designing a checklist or 
grid is a common way of how to score or evaluate oral 
performance.
Here is the typical example of how we can assess 
oral speech based on a grid below.

The second crucial productive 
language skill is writing. Checking massive writing prod-
ucts has always been a common issue in assessment 
since it is absolutely time-intensive. Despite this, we are 
going to focus on the practices and achievements of 
corpus driven assessment for writing skill. Corpus has 
brought much innovation into language learning, espe-
cially assessment. In the field of ESP, learning specific
