Ex 1. Future decisions and intentions
1. A: I’ve decided. I am going to improve my English.
B: Good idea! I will help you with your grammar.
2. A: When will make your bed?
B: Oh, I’m sorry. I completely forgot about that. I will do it later.
3. A: What are you going to do tomorrow?
B: I don’t know yet. Perhaps I will meet Mike for lunch.
4. A: What time will you arrive this evening?
B: I think around 8pm, but I will call you later to confirm.
5. A: What are you going to do on your birthday?
B: I am going to organize a big party.
6. A: I’m feeling a bit stressed lately. I will take some time off work.
B: That’s a good idea. I think I will do the same.
7. A: Have you decided where you are going to have dinner?
B: Well, I will not eat at that cheap restaurant again. I got food poisoning last time.
8. A: Who are you going to vote for at the election?
B: I don’t know. I don’t think I will vote this time. I don’t like any of the candidates.
Ex 2. Future predictions
1. In 20 years time, I will be 50.
2. I don’t feel very well. I’m going to be sick.
3. I think it will snow next winter, but I can’t be sure.
4. Have you heard the news? Mike’s sister is going to have a baby.
5. I think Karl is going to be very successful when he becomes an adult.

Ex 3. Used to + infinitive
2. He used to have a lot of paperwork.
3. He did not use to have any free time, but now he works two days a week.
4. He used to make a lot of phone calls, but now he does not use the phone very often.
5. He used to earn much more money than today.
6. His desk used to be almost empty. It is full of papers and folders.

1. What are your plans for next week?
I do not know exactly yet. Maybe my family and I will go shopping or we will go to the mountains to relax and see stunning nature in snowing days.
2. Make 5 predictions about the year 2050.
a) I think in 2050 many people will have robots in their houses, who will clean, cook and take care of their children.
B) In 2050 cars will fly and the traffic jam will disappear.
c) The environment will be in awful condition because of pollution of air and water.
d) People will stop going outside because they will be using virtual meetings.
e) Consumers will stop using money they will implement microchips to their bodies.
3. Write 5 things you used to do in your childhood.
In my childhood I used to play and enjoy my time a lot. I used to read small and interesting English encyclopedias and books with my mother. I used to go to the drawing lessons. I used to print on the walls. I used to practice swimming.
4. Make 5 sentences about you using the past perfect, e.g. Yesterday, I was really tired. I hadn’t slept all night.
By the time my sister came home I had finished doing my homework. We had cooked and learned new recipes together. After we had cleaned the house. My sister and I had practiced French. I had learned new words before I went to bed.
