QUESTIONS
1	In what kind of family was George Washington born? George Washington was born in 1732, on February 22, in Westmoreland County, Virginia. For nearly twenty years he guided his much as a father cares for a growing child.
2	What things did he learn to do when he was a boy? He won a lasting place in American History as the “Father of our Country”.
3	What did George Washington do during the Revolutionary War? His first military experience came in the French and Indian War in 1754 – 1763. In 1775 – 1783years G. Washington led America's Continental Army to victory over Britain in the American Revolutionary War which led to the Treaty of Paris (1783).
4	Why did people respect him? After the he became President, he successfully solved many problems facing his country.
5	What did Washington want to do after the Revolutionary War? He supported Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton's plans to build a strong central government by funding the national debt, implementing an effective tax system, and creating a national bank.
6	When did G. Washington become the first president of the country? In 1789 – 1797yaers he elected as the first president of the United States of America, served two four-year terms (reelected in 1792).
