Kayakammadvarakathavannana



Imassa (CS:pg.72) panatthassati kammadvaranam abbamabbasmim aniyatataya “dvare caranti kammani”ti-adina pakasanattham. Pabca vibbananiti ettha chatthassa vibbanassa tassa ca dvarassa anuddeso dvaradvaravantanam sahabhava. Niyataruparupavasena catusamutthanikakaya vuttati saddassa vikararupadinabca asavgaho.

Pathamajavanasamutthita vayodhatu yadipi tasmim khane rupanam desantaruppattihetubhavena caletum na sakkoti, tathapi vibbattivikarasahitava sa veditabba. Dasasu hi disasu yam disam gantukamo avgapaccavgani va khipitukamo, tamdisabhimukhaneva rupani sa santhambheti sandhareti cati tadabhimukhabhavavikaravati hoti, adhippayasahabhavi ca vikaro vibbattiti. Vayodhatuya …pe… paccayo bhavitunti thambhanacalanesu vayodhatuya paccayo bhavitum samattho cittasamutthanamahabhutanam eko akaraviseso atthi, ayam vibbatti nama. Tesabhi tadakaratta vayodhatu thambheti caleti cati. Na cittasamutthanati etena paramatthato abhavam dasseti. Na hi rupam appaccayam atthi, na ca nibbanavajjo attho nicco atthiti. Vibbattitayati vibbattivikarataya. Cittasamutthanabhavo viya mahabhutavikarataya upadarupabhavo ca adhippetoti veditabbo.

Kayikakarananti kayadvarappavattam cittakiriyam, adhippayanti attho. Kareti mabbeti etena vannaggahananusarena gahitaya vibbattiya yam karanam vibbatabbam, tassa vijananena vibbattiya vibbatattam dasseti. Na hi vibbattirahitesu rukkhacalanadisu “idamesa kareti”ti vijananam hotiti. Cakkhuvibbanassa hi rupe abhinipatamattam kiccam, na adhippayasahabhuno calanavikarassa gahanam. Cittassa pana lahuparivattitaya cakkhuvibbanavithiya (CS:pg.73) anantaram manovibbanena vibbatampi calanam cakkhuna dittham viya mabbanti avisesaviduno, tasma yatha nilabhinipatavasappavattaya cakkhuvibbanavithiya nilanti pavattaya manovibbanavithiya ca antaram na vibbayati, evam avibbayamanantarena manodvaravibbanena gahite tasmim cittena saheva anuparivatte kayathambhanavikaracopanasavkhate “idamesa kareti, ayamassa adhippayo”ti vijananam hoti.

Talapannadirupani disva tadanantarappavattaya manodvaravithiya avibbayamanantaraya talapannadinam udakadisahacarippakaratam sabbanakaram gahetva udakadiggahanam viya. Ettha udakam bhavissatiti-adina ca udakadisambandhanakarena rupaggahananusaravibbanena yam udakadi vibbatabbam, tassa vijananena tadakarassa vibbatata vuttati datthabba. Etassa pana kayikakaranaggahanassa udakadiggahanassa ca purimasiddhasambandhaggahanam upanissayo hotiti datthabbam. Atha pana nalambitapi vibbatti kayikakaranaggahanassa ca paccayo purimasiddhasambandhaggahanopanissayavasena sadhippayavikarabhutavannaggahananantaram pavattamanassa adhippayaggahanassa adhippayasahabhuvikarabhave abhavato, evam sati vannaggahananantarena udakadiggahaneneva talapannadisabbanakaro viya vannaggahananantarena adhippayaggahaneneva vibbatti pakata hotiti “idabcidabca esa kareti mabbe”ti adhippayavijananeneva vibbattiya vibbatata vutta.



Ayam no paharitukamoti adhippayavijananena vibbattiya pakatabhavam dasseti. Na hi tadapakatabhave adhippayavijananam hotiti. Sammukhi …pe… yeva nama hotiti asammukhibhutataya anapathagatanam rupadinam cakkhuvibbeyyadibhavo viya sabhavabhutam tam dvidha vibbattibhavam sadheti. Param bodhetukamataya vinapi abhikkamanadippavattanena so cittasahabhuvikaro adhippayam vibbapeti, sayabca vibbayatiti dvidhapi vibbattiyevati veditabba.

Tasmim dvare siddhati tena dvarena vibbatabbabhavato teneva dvarena namalabhato tasmim dvare pakatabhavavasena siddha. Kusalam va akusalam vati thapetabbam. Kasma? Yasma paravadino avipakassa kammabhavo (CS:pg.74) na siddho, itarassa pana siddhoti vibbattisamutthapakanam ekadasannam kiriyacittanam vasena tikam puretva thapetabbam.

Dvare caranti kammaniti ettha ayamadhippayo– yadi dvara dvarantaracarino honti, dvarasambheda kammasambhedopiti kayakammam kayakammadvaranti abbamabbavavatthanam na siya, kammanampi kammantaracarane eseva nayo. Yadi pana dvaranampi dvarabhavena kammantaracaranam kammanabca dvarantaracaranam na siya, sutthutaram kammadvaravavatthanam siya. Na pana kammanam dvarantare acaranam atthi, kintu dvare abbasmibca caranti kammani abbanipi. Yasma pana dvare dvarani na caranti, tasma advaracarihi dvarehi karanabhutehi kammani dvarantare carantanipi vavatthitani. Na kevalam kammaneva, tehi pana dvaranipiti evam kammadvarani abbamabbam vavatthitani “yebhuyyenavuttitaya tabbahulavuttitaya ca”ti vuccamanaya vavatthanayuttiya. Tattha dvarapekkhatta kammanam kayakammadibhavassa advaracarihi dvarehi vavatthanam hoti, na pana dvarantaracarihi kammehi dvaranam avavatthanam kammanapekkhakayadvaradibhavehi dvarehi vavatthitanam kayakammadinam kayakammadvaradivavatthanakaratta. Atha va dvarantare carantanipi kayadihi upalakkhitaneva caranti panatipatadinam evamsabhavatta anattihatthavikaradihi vuccamanassapi kayadihi sadhetabbasabhavavabodhato, tasma na kammantarassa attani carantassapi dvarantaram sanamam deti, napi kammam dvarassa, tamtamdvarameva pana kammassa kammabca dvarantare carantampi attanoyeva dvarassa namam detiti siddham abbamabbavavatthanam. Pubbe pana dvaresu anibaddhata kammanam dvarantaracaranameva sandhaya vutta, na etam vavatthananti.

Tatthati tesu dvarakammesu. Kayakammassa uppajjanatthananti tamsahajata vibbattiyeva vuccati. Kibcapi hi sa tassa kenaci pakarena paccayo na hoti, tathapi kammassa visesika vibbatti tamsahajata hotiti tassa uppattitthanabhavena vutta yathavuttaniyamena abbavisesanassa kammassa visesanantare uppatti-abhava. Kayena pana katattati kayavibbattim janetva taya jivitindriyupacchedadinipphadanato attano nipphattivasena “kayena katam kamman”ti vuttam. Karanabhuto hi panettha kayoti.

Abbamabbam (CS:pg.75) vavatthitati ettha kammuna kayo kayakammadvaranti evam vavatthito, na kayo icceva. Yatha sucikammuna sucikammakarananti vavatthita, na suci icceva, tatha idampi datthabbam. Abbamabbam vavatthitati ca abbamabbam visesitati attho. Evam santeti yathavuttam vavatthananiyamam aggahetva “dvare caranti kammani”ti-adivacanameva gahetva codeti. Tattha evam santeti kammanam dvaracarane abbamabbena ca vavatthane namalabhe visesane satiti attho.

Kayakammadvarakathavannana nitthita.



Vacikammadvarakathavannana



Catuhi, bhikkhave, avgehi samannagatati ettha subhasitabhasanasavkhata apisunavaca, dhammabhasanasavkhato asamphappalapo, piyabhasanasavkhata apharusavaca, saccabhasanasavkhato amusavado cati eta vaca tathapavatta cetana datthabba. Sahasadda panati tassa vikarassa saddena saha sambhutatta vuttam. Cittanuparivattitaya pana so na yava saddabhaviti datthabbo, vitakkavippharasaddo na sotavibbeyyoti pavattena maha-atthakathavadena cittasamutthanasaddo vinapi vibbattighattanena uppajjatiti apajjati. “Ya taya vacaya vibbatti”ti (dha.sa.636) hi vacanato asotavibbeyyasaddena saha vibbattiya uppatti natthiti vibbayatiti.

Cittasamutthanam saddayatananti ettha ca na koci cittasamutthano saddo asavgahito nama atthiti adhippayena maha-atthakathavadam patisedheti. Chabbidhena rupasavgahadisu hi “sotavibbeyyan”ti “dittham sutan”ti ettha “sutan”ti ca na koci saddo na savgayhatiti. Maha-atthakathayam pana vibbattisahajameva jivhatalucalanadikaravitakkasamutthitam sukhumasaddam “dibbasotena sutva adisati”ti sutte patthane ca olarikasaddam sandhaya “sotavibbanassa arammanapaccayena paccayo”ti vuttanti imina adhippayena asotavibbeyyata vutta siya. Saddo (CS:pg.76) ca asotavibbeyyo cati viruddhametanti pana patikkhepo veditabbo. Vibbattipaccaya ghattana vibbattighattana. Vibbatti eva va. Ghattanakarappavattabhutavikaro hi “ghattana”ti vutto. Savghattanena saheva saddo uppajjati, na pubbaparabhavena. Pathavidhatuyati idam vayodhatuya viya calanam pathavidhatuya savghattanam kiccam adhikanti katva vuttam, vikarassa ca tappaccayabhavo vuttanayeneva veditabbo. Tabbikaranabhi bhutanam abbamabbassa paccayabhavoti. Abbampi sabbam vidhanam kayavibbattiyam viya veditabbam.

Tisamutthanikakayam …pe… na labbhati. Na hi calanam upadinnaghattananti. Calanabhi desantaruppadanaparamparata, ghattanam paccayavisesena bhutakalapanam asannataruppadoti. Upatthambhanakiccampi natthiti upatthambhanena vina pathamacittasamutthanapi ghattanakarena pavattatiti ghattanattham upatthambhanena payojanam natthi, laddhasevanena citteneva ghattanassa balavabhavato cati adhippayo. Upatthambhanam natthi atthiti vicaretva gahetabbam.

Vacikammadvarakathavannana nitthita.



Manokammadvarakathavannana



Ayam nama cetana kammam na hotiti na vattabbati idam yassa dvaram mano, tamdassanattham vuttam. Kappetiti “tvam phusanam karohi, tvam vedayitan”ti evam kappentam viya pavattatiti attho. Pakappanabca tadeva. Kim pindam karotiti ayuhanatthavasena pucchati. Phassadidhamme hi avippakinne katva sakiccesu pavattanam ayuhanam, tattheva byaparanam cetayanam, tathakaranam abhisavkharananti. Tebhumakasseva gahanam lokuttarakammassa kammakkhayakaratta.

Manokammadvarakathavannana nitthita.



Kammakathavannana



Cetayitva (CS:pg.77) kammam karotiti ettha yasma purimacetanaya cetayitva sannitthanakammam karoti, tasma cetanapubbakam kammam tamcetanasabhavamevati cetanam aham kammam vadamiti attho. Atha va samanakalattepi karanakiriya pubbakala viya vattum yutta, phalakiriya ca aparakala viya. Yasma ca cetanaya cetayitva kayavacahi copanakiriyam manasa ca abhijjhadikiriyam karoti, tasma tassa kiriyaya karikam cetanam aham kammam vadamiti attho. Kaye vati kayavibbattisavkhate kaye va. Satiti dharamane, anirodhite va. Kayasamutthapika cetana kayasabcetana. Ettha ca sukhadukkhuppadakena kammena bhavitabbam, cetana ca sukhadukkhuppadika vuttati tassa kammabhavo siddho hoti. Sabcetaniyanti sabcetanasabhavavantam. Samiddhittherena “sabcetaniyam, avuso …pe… manasa sukham so vedayati”ti (ma.ni.3.300 katha.539) avibhajitva byakato. Sukhavedaniyanti-adina pana vibhajitva byakatabbo so pabho, tasma samma byakato nama na hoti. Itaradvayepi eseva nayo. Yatha pana suttani thitani, tatha copanakiriyanissayabhuta kayavaca abhijjhadikiriyanissayo ca manodvarani, yaya pana cetanaya tehi kayadihi karanabhutehi copanabhijjhadikiriyam karonti vasi-adihi viya chedanadim, sa cetana kammanti dvarappavattiyampi kammadvarabhedanabca kammadvaravavatthanabca dissati, evabca sati “kayena ce katam kamman”ti-adigathayo (dha.sa.attha.1kayakammadvara) ativiya yujjanti.

Lokuttaramaggo idha lokiyakammakathayam anadhippetopi bhajapiyamano tini kammani bhajati. Manena dussilyanti kayikavacasikavitikkamavajjam sabbam akusalam savganhati, micchaditthisavkappavayamasatisamadhim va. Tampi cetam “manasa samvaro sadhu”ti (sam.ni.1.116 dha.pa.361) vuttassa samvarassa patipakkhavasena vuttam, na silavipattivasena. Na hi sa manasika atthiti maggasseva bhajapanam mahavisayatta. Bojjhavga hi manokammameva bhajeyyum, na ca na sakka maggabhajapaneneva tesam bhajapanam vibbatunti.

Kammapatham (CS:pg.78) appattanampi tamtamdvare samsandanam avarodhanam dvarantare kammantaruppattiyampi kammadvarabhedanabca dvarasamsandanam nama. “Tividha, bhikkhave, kayasabcetana akusalam kayakamman”ti-adina (katha.539) kammapathappattava sannitthapakacetana kammanti vuttati purimacetana sabba kayakammam na hotiti vuttam. Anapetva …pe… alabhantassati anattehi amaritabhavam sandhaya vuttam, vaciduccaritam nama hoti akammapathabhavatoti adhippayo. “Ime satta habbantu”ti pavattabyapadavasena cetanapakkhika va bhavanti kayakammavoharalabha. Abboharika va manokammavoharaviraha. Sasambharapathavi-adisu apadayo ettha nidassanam.

Kulumbassati gabbhassa, kulasseva va. Tissopi savgitiyo arulhataya ananujananato “tava suttassati vuttam. Dasavidha iddhi patisambhidamagge iddhikathaya gahetabba. Bhavanamayanti adhitthaniddhim sandhaya vadati. Ghatabhedo viya parupaghato, udakavinaso viya iddhivinaso ca hotiti upama samsandati. Tava pabhoti bhavanamayaya parupaghato hotiti vutto bapetum icchito attho. Athabbaniddhi vijjamayiddhi hoti. Sattame padeti mandaladito sattame pade.

Vacanantarena gametabbattham neyyattham, sayameva gamitabbattham nitattham. Kiriyato samutthati, udahu akiriyatoti tenadhippetam sampajanamusavadam sandhaya pucchati, na uposathakkhandhake vuttam. Tattha avuttameva hi so anariyavoharam vuttanti gahetva voharatiti. Vacagiranti vacasavkhatam giram, vacanuccaranam va.



Khandasivadayo setthati khandati kumara. Sivati mahessara, micchaditthiya nidassanatthamidam vuttanti datthabbam. Natthikaditthadayo eva hi kammapathappatta kammanti. Cetana panettha abboharikati kayadvare vacidvare ca samutthitapi kayakammam vacikammanti ca voharam na labhati abhijjhadippadhanatta. “Tividha, bhikkhave, manosabcetana akusalam manokamman”ti pana vacanato sabhaveneva sa manokammam, na abhijjhadipakkhikattati “abhijjhadipakkhikava”ti na vuttam. Imasmim pana thane kayavgavacavgani acopetva cintanakale cetanapi cetanasampayuttadhammapi manodvare (CS:pg.79) eva samutthahanti, tasma cetanaya abboharikabhavo kathabci natthiti adhippayo.

“Tividha bhikkhave, kayasabcetana kusalam kayakamman”ti-adivacanato (katha.539) panatipatadipatipakkhabhuta tabbirativisittha cetanava panatipatavirati-adika hontiti “cetanapakkhika va”ti vuttam, na “viratipakkhika”ti. Rakkhatiti avinasetva katheti. Bhindatiti vinasetva katheti.

Kammakathavannana nitthita.
Cakkhuvibbanadvaranti cakkhuvibbanassa dvaram. Cakkhu ca tam vibbanadvarabcati va cakkhuvibbanadvaram. Cakkhu vibbanadvaranti va asamasaniddeso. Tam pana cakkhumeva. Esa nayo sesesupi. “Cakkhuna samvaro sadhu”ti-adikaya (dha.pa.360) gathaya pasadakayacopanakayasamvare ekajjham katva kayena samvaro vutto, tam idha bhinditva attha samvara, tappatipakkhabhavena asamvara attha kathita. Silasamvaradayopi pabceva samvara sabbadvaresu uppajjamanapi, tappatipakkhabhavena dussilyadini asamvarati vuttani. Tattha dussilyam panatipatadicetana. Mutthassaccam satipatipakkha akusala dhamma. Pamadanti keci. Sitadisu patigho akkhanti. Thinamiddham kosajjam.

Vina vacidvarena suddham kayadvarasavkhatanti idam vacidvarasallakkhitassa musavadadinopi kayadvare pavattisabbhava asuddhata atthiti tamnivaranattham vuttam. Na hi tam kayakammam hoti. Suddhavacidvaropalakkhitam pana vacikammameva hotiti. Ettha asamvaroti etena suddhakayadvarena upalakkhito asamvaro dvarantare uppajjamanopi vutto. Dvarantaranupalakkhitam sabbam tamdvarikakusalabceti veditabbam. Evabca katva kammapathasamsandane “copanakaya-asamvaradvaravasena uppajjamano asamvaro akusalam kayakammameva hoti”ti-adi “akusalam kayakammam copanakaya-asamvaradvaravasena vaci-asamvaravasena ca uppajjati”ti-adina saha aviruddham hoti. Asamvaro hi dvarantare (CS:pg.80) uppajjamanopi sadvare evati vuccati, sadvaravasena uppannoti ca, kammam abbadvare abbadvaravasena cati evam aviruddham.

Atha va etthati suddham asuddhanti etam avicaretva etasmim copaneti vuttam hoti. Evam sati dvarantaropalakkhitam kammapathabhavappattataya vacimanokammam copanakaya-asamvaradvare uppannam, sesam sabbam tamdvaruppannakusalam viya “copanakaya-asamvaro”ti vuccati. Kammapathabhavappattiya dvarantaruppannam kayakammabca tatha na vuccatiti kammapathasamsandanavirodho siya, tadavirodham tattheva vakkhama. Silasamvaradayo pabca nikkhepakande avi bhavissanti. Tattha banasamvare paccayasannissitasilassa, viriyasamvare ca ajivaparisuddhiya antogadhata datthabba.




Akusalakammapathakathavannana

Saraseneva ca patanasabhavassa panassa antara eva ativa patanam atipato, sanikam patitum adatvava sigham patananti attho. Atikkamma va satthadihi abhibhavitva patanam atipato. Payogavatthumahantatadihi mahasavajjata tehi paccayehi uppajjamanaya cetanaya balavabhavato. Yathavuttapaccayavipariyayepi tamtampaccayehi uppajjamanaya cetanaya balavabalavavaseneva appasavajjamahasavajjata veditabba. Iddhimayo kammavipakajiddhimayo dathakotikadinam viya.



Gottarakkhita sagottehi rakkhita. Dhammarakkhita sahadhammikehi rakkhita. Sasamika sarakkha. Yassa gamane rabba dando thapito, sa saparidanda. Atthabhabjakoti kammapathappattam vuttam. Kammapathakatha hesati. Attano santakam adatukamatayati-adi musavadasamabbato vuttam. Hasadhippayena visamvadanapurekkharasseva musavado. Subbabhavanti pitivirahitataya rittatam. Atthavipannataya na hadayavgama. Agganhanteti asaddahante kammapathabhedo na hoti. Yo koci pana samphappalapo dvihi sambharehi sijjhatiti. Attano parinamanam cittenevati veditabbam. Miccha passatiti vitatham passati.

Kotthasatoti (CS:pg.81) phassapabcamakadisu cittavgakotthasesu ye kotthasa honti, tatoti attho. Nanu ca cetana kammapathesu na vuttati patipatiya sattannam kammapathabhavo na yuttoti? Na, avacanassa abbahetutta. Na hi cetanaya akammapathatta kammapatharasimhi avacanam, kadaci pana kammapatho hoti, na sabbadati kammapathabhavassa aniyatatta avacanam. Yada pana kammapatho hoti, tada kammapatharasisavgaho na nivaritoti. “Pabca sikkhapada parittarammana eva”ti etena adinnadanadinam sattarammanabhavavirodham “sattasavkhate savkhare eva arabbha pavattito”ti sayameva pariharissati. “Natthi satta opapatika”ti pavattamana ditthi tebhumakadhammavisayavati savkhararammanata vutta. Vipakanissandaphalani yathakkamam nirayadivipakaduggatatadini.

Akusalakammapathakathavannana nitthita.



Kusalakammapathakathavannana



Panatipatadihi pana viratiyoti etam yahi viratihi sampayutta cetana “kayavacikammani”ti vuccanti, tasabca kammapathabhavo yuttoti katva vuttam. Tatha hi vakkhati “patipatiya satta cetanapi vattanti viratiyopi”ti. Allasasamamsanti jivamanakasasamamsam. Voropeta hutva nabhijanami. Dussilyadarammana tadarammana. Jivitindriyadi-arammana katham dussilyadini pajahantiti tam dassetum “yatha panati-adi vuttam. Anabhijjha …pe… viramantassati abhijjham pajahantassati attho. Na hi manoduccarita virati atthi anabhijjhadiheva tappahanato.


Kammapathasamsandanakathavannana

Kammapathappattanam dussilyadinam asamvaranam tatha duccaritanabca akusalakammapathehi kammapathappattanameva ca susilyadinam samvaranam tatha sucaritanabca kusalakammapathehi atthato nanattabhavadassanam. Atha va tesam phassadvaradihi avirodhabhavena dipanam kammapathasamsandananti keci vadanti (CS:pg.82) tadetam vicaretabbam. Na hi pabcaphassadvarapabca-asamvaradvarapabcasamvaradvaresu uppannanam asamvaranam samvaranabca kammapathata atthi panatipatadinam parasantakavatthulobhaparasattarammanabyapada-ahetukaditthi-adinabca tesu dvaresu anuppattito. Tividhaka-ayaduccaritadini ca kammapathati pakata evati kim tesam kammapathehi nanattabhavadassanena, na ca duccaritanam sucaritanabca phassadvaradivasena uppatti dipita, napi asamvaranam samvaranabca yato tesam phassadvaradihi avirodhabhavena dipana siya, kevalam pana phassadvaradivasena uppannanam asamvaranam samvaranabca kayakammadita dipita. Yadi ca ettakam kammapathasamsandanam, “akusalam kayakammam pabcaphassadvaravasena nuppajjati”ti-adi kammapathasamsandanam na siya. Esapi chaphassadvaradihi avirodhadipanati ce, vuttameva pakarantarena dassetum “atha va”ti na vattabbam. Samuccayatthe ca atha va-sadde kammapathappattaneva dussilyadini kayakammadinamehi vadantehi manokammassa chaphassadvaravasena uppatti na vattabba. Na hi tam cakkhudvaradivasena uppajjatiti. Yadi ca kammapathappatta eva asamvaradayo gahita, duccaritehi abbesam asamvaranam abhava tesabca tamtamkammabhavassa vuttatta “copanakaya-asamvaradvaravasena uppanno asamvaro akusalam kayakammameva hoti”ti-adi na vattabbam siya. Vuccamane hi tasmim savkaro siya, vacimanokammanipi hi kayadvare uppajjanti, tatha sesadvaresupi kammantaraniti.

Atha pana dvarantare uppajjamanam kammantarampi tamdvarikakammameva siya, “tividham kayaduccaritam akusalam kayakammameva”ti-adi, “akusalam kayakammam copanakaya-asamvaradvaravasena vaca-asamvaradvaravasena ca uppajjati”ti-adi ca virujjheyya. Duccaritanabhi abbadvaracaranam atthi, na cassa dvarantaruppannam kammantaram hotiti. Kammam pana hontam kim kammam hotiti? Manokammameva hotiti. Idam vuttam hoti– copanappattam akusalam kayadvare vacidvare ca manokammam hotiti. Atha va tam-saddassa manokammena sambandham akatva chaphassadvaravasena yam uppajjati, tanti yathavutta-uppadamattaparicchinnena sambandho katabbo. Kim pana tanti? Kammakathaya pavattamanatta kammanti vibbayati, tabca manosamphassadvare uppajjamanampi tividham kammam hotiti. Yatha tam hoti, tam dassetum “kayavacidvaresu copanam pattan”ti-adimaha. Tattha niyamassa akatatta copanappatti upalakkhanabhavena kayavacikammanamasadhikava, na pana sabbampi copanappattam kayavacikammameva, napi kusalapakkhe copanam appattam kayavacikammam na hotiti ayamattho siddhova hotiti.

Atha va tanti tam chaphassadvaravasena uppajjamanam manokammanti sabbam manasapi nipphajjamanam kammam manokammanti codakadhippayena gahetva vadati, na pubbe dassitamanokammanti. Abhijjhadikiriyakarikaya eva cetanaya sampayutta abhijjhadayo manokammam, na panatipatadikayavacikiriyakarikayati bhiyyopi tesam manokammatati na tesam manokammanam satam kayavacikammata vattabbati. Evam kammanam dvaresu dvaranabca kammesu aniyatatta dvaranibandhanam na katam. Idha ca sabbarammanatadidassanam “ruparammanam va …pe… dhammarammanam va”ti etassa anantaram “yam yam va pana”ti etassa vacane payojanam yojana datthabbam. Tattha “ruparammanam va …pe… dhammarammanam va arabbhati ettakena apannam dosam dassetva tannivattanavasena “yam yam va pana”ti etassa payojanam dassetum “hetthati-adimaha. Dutiye atthavikappe “yam yam vapana”ti etena appadhanampi rupadim akaddhati. Na hi padhanassa cittassa attanoyeva arammanabhavo atthiti. Kamam (CS:pg.86) uppannaphasso puggalo cittacetasikarasi va arammanena phuttho phassasahajataya vedanaya tamsamakalameva vedeti, phasso pana obhasassa padipo viya vedanadinam paccayaviseso hotiti purimakalo viya vutto. Gopanasinam upari tiriyam thapitakattham pakkhapaso. Katthadvayadi viya ekadesena ekapassena analliyamanopi rupena saha phassassa samabbam analliyamanam savghattanameva, na visayabhavo, savghattanabca phassassa cittarammananam sannipatanabhavo eva. Vattharammanasannipatena sampajjatiti savghattanasampattiko phasso. Panidvayassa sannipato viya cittarammanasannipato phasso cittassa arammane sannipatitappavattiya paccayo hotiti kiccattheneva rasena savghattanaraso. Tatha paccayabhavo hi tassa phassassa savghattanakiccanti. Yatha hi paniya panimhi savghattanam tabbisesabhuta rupadhamma, evam cittassa arammane savghattanam tabbisesabhuto eko cetasikadhammo datthabbo. Citteyevati etena cetasikasabhavatam vattharammanehi asamsattham savghattanam vedanaya dasseti, na pana vatthunissayatam patikkhipati. Tassa phassassa karanabhuto tadanurupo samannaharo tajjasamannaharo. Indriyassa tadabhimukhabhavo avajjanaya ca arammanakaranam visayassa parikkhatata abhisavkhatata vibbanassa visayabhavakarananti attho.

Sukhavedanayameva labbhati assadabhavatoti adhippayo. Vissavitayati arahataya. Anekatthatta hi dhatunam arahattho vipubbo susaddo. Vissavam va sajanam vasita kamakarita vissavita. Arammanarasekadesameva anubhavantiti idam phusanadikiccam ekadesanubhavanamiva hotiti katva vuttam. Vedayitasabhavo eva hi anubhavananti. Phusanadibhavena va arammanaggahanam ekadesanubhavanam, vedayitabhavena gahanam yathakamam sabbanubhavanam. Evam sabhavaneva tani gahananiti na vedanaya viya phassadinampi yathasakakiccakaranena samibhavanubhavanam codetabbam. Ayam idhati etena pabcasu vedanasu imasmim citte adhippetam somanassavedanam vadati, tasma asomanassavedanam apanetva gahitaya somanassavedanaya samana itthakarasambhogarasata vuttati veditabba.

Nimittena (CS:pg.87) punasabjananakicca paccabhibbanarasa. Punasabjananassa paccayo punasabjananapaccayo, tadeva nimittam puna …pe… nimittam, tassa karanam puna …pe… karanam. Punasabjananapaccayabhutam va nimittakaranam puna …pe… karanam, tadassa kiccanti attho. Punasabjananapaccayanimittakaranam nimittakarikaya nimittena sabjanantiya ca sabbaya sabbaya samanam veditabbam. Banameva anuvattati, tasma abhinivesakarika viparitaggahika ca na hotiti adhippayo. Etenupayena samadhisampayuttaya aciratthanata ca na hotiti datthabba.

Abhisandahatiti pabandhati pavatteti. Cetanabhavo byaparabhavo. Digunussahati na digunam viriyayogam sandhaya vuttam, attano eva pana byaparakiccassa mahantabhavam dipeti. Ussahanabhavenati adarabhavena. Sa hi sayam adarabhuta sampayutte adarayatiti.

Vijananam arammanassa upaladdhi. Sandahanam cittantarassa anuppabandhanam. Cakkhuna hi ditthanti cakkhuna datthabbam. Yatha “dittham sutam mutam vibbatan”ti datthabbadi vuccati, evamidhapi veditabbam. Cakkhuna hiti-adisu cakkhuna …pe… manasa dvarenati attho. Nagaraguttikassa viya cittassa arammanavibhavanamattam upadharanamattam upaladdhimattam kiccam, arammanapativedhanapaccabhibbanadi pana kiccam pabbasabbadinanti veditabbam. Purimanidditthanti samayavavatthane niddittham. Bhavento viya na na uppajjati, kintu uppajjatiti dassetum “cittam hotiti vuttanti etam hoti-saddassa uppajjati-saddassa ca samanatthatte sati yujjeyya, tadatthatte ca tattha uppannam hotiti na vucceyya. Samadhicittenati samadhisahitacittena. Avisaro attano eva avisaranasabhavo. Avikkhepo sampayuttanam avikkhittata. Yena sampayutta avikkhitta honti, so dhammo avikkhepoti. Visesatoti yebhuyyena. Sukhavirahitopi hi atthi samadhiti. Padipanidassanena santanatthitibhavam samadhissa dasseti.

Pitisomanassasampayogatoti vutte yena yoga sumano hoti, tam somanassanti vuccatiti pitiya ca somanassabhavo apajjati, tasma vinapi kayena vatthuna satavedanasampayogatoti yojetabbam. Evabca nippitikam somanassabca savgahitam hoti, piti-upalakkhitam va somanassam sappitikam nippitikabca somanassanti attho datthabbo.

Pavattasantatadhipateyyanti pavattasavkhataya santatiya adhipatibhutam. Jivitindriyassa hi attano vijjamanakkhane anupalentassa anantarabca sanupalananam uppattiya hetubhutassa vasena pavattam ciratthitikam hoti, tamtamkammavisesena visesayuttam yava cuti avisesena va yava parinibbanam avicchinnam pavattati jivamanatavisesayuttabcati ruparupajivitindriyanam samanalakkhanadim vattum “attana avinibhuttadhammanan”ti aha. Jatiadimahattapaccavekkhanena uppajjamana ca hiri tattha garavavasena pavattatiti “sappatissavalakkhanati vuccati. Vajjam bhayati tabca bhayato passatiti vajjabhirukabhayadassavi. Evamsabhavam ottappam. Hiri papadhamme gutham viya passati, ottappam unham viya. Dayajjam navalokuttaradhammadi. Ajjhattasamutthanadita ca hiri-ottappanam tattha tattha pakatabhavena vutta, na pana tesam kadaci abbamabbam vippayoga. Na hi lajjanam nibbhayam papabhayam va alajjanam hotiti.

Agedho anabhijjhanam anabhikavkhanam. Anallino bhavo adhippayo etassati anallinabhavo, evabhi upamaya sameti. Anukulamitto anuvattako. Vinayarasoti vinayanaraso. Adoso dussilyamalassati idam dussilyassa dosasamutthanatam dosupanissayatabca sandhaya vuttam. Abhavanayati “tattha jatanam dhammanam anativattanatthena bhavana-indriyanam ekarasatthena bhavana tadupagaviriyavahanatthena bhavana asevanatthena bhavana”ti evam vuttaya pabbasadhanaya bhavanaya appavatti, tappatipakkhabhuta va akusala abhavana. Niggunepi gunaggahanam adhikaggahanam. Vijjamanampi gunam viddhamsetva gahanam unaggahanam. Catuvipallasaggahanam viparitaggahanam.

Yathavasabhaveti “ettako etassa guno, ettako doso”ti gunadosanam sabhave “jaradhammo jirati, tam kutettha labbha ma jiri”ti evamadipaccavekkhanasambhavato. Alobhena ca gahatthanam khettavatthadisu vivadabhavato. Amohena pabbajitanam ditthigatavivadabhavato. Kamaragabhinivesavinibandha hi gahattha gahatthehi vivadanti, ditthiragabhinivesavinibandha samana samanehiti. Ragavasena mittasanthavo dosavasena virodho ca tabbisesena upagamapagama, arammane va rupadimhi anurodhavirodha. Amajjhattabhavassa patighanunayasavkhatassa mohena pavatti. Sukhavipariname dukkhasamayoge ca patighapavattiyam vedanapariggaho na sijjhatiti adosanubhavena vedanasatipatthanam sijjhati. Dibbaviharassati catunnam jhananam. Ariyaviharo phalasamapatti. Mohena avicarento udasinapakkhesupi sattasavkharesu sabbesu (CS:pg.92) abhisavgam karotiti amulhassa tadabhavo veditabbo. Dukkhadassanassa asannapatipakkhatta dosassa tappatipakkhena adosena dukkhadassanam hoti.

Samam samantato va pakarehi jananam sampajabbam. Cetiyavandanadi-attham abhikkamadisu atthanatthaparigganhanam satthakasampajabbam. Sati ca atthe sappayasappayarupadiparigganhanam sappayasampajabbam. Gocaragamabhikkamanadisu kammatthanavijahanam gocarasampajabbam. Abhikkamanadinam dhatu-adivasena pavicayo asammohasampajabbam. Sabbakammatthanabhavananuyuttanam sabbayoginam sabbada upakaraka ime dve dhamma paripanthakaharanato bhavanavaddhanato ca. Yathaha “dve dhamma bahukara sati ca sampajabbabca”ti (di.ni.3.352). Yuge naddha viyati yuganaddha, abbamabbam nimittabhavena samam pavattati attho. “Puna caparam, avuso, bhikkhu samathavipassanam yuganaddham bhaveti”ti (a.ni.4.170 pati.ma.2.1) hi sutte etesam yuganaddhata vutta. Sabbakusaladhammesu linuddhaccabhavo etehi dvihi samam yuttehiti “viriyasamadhiyojanatthayati aha, yogavacanatthayati attho.

Rupabhavenati ruppanabhavena. Dhammati etassa attho sabhavato upalabbhamanati. Mettapubbabhagoti appanappattaya mettaya pubbabhago (CS:pg.93) parikammametta etasmim citte atthiti attho. Yasma pana savkharakkhandhapariyapanna honti, tasma tamniddese akhandhabhavanivaranattham yevapanatveva vuttati na yevapanaka thapetabbati. Paccayasavkhatenati aharapaccayasavkhatenati vuttam hoti. Atha va “hetu paccayo”ti etesu dvisu janako hetu upatthambhako paccayoti evam visesavantesu paccayasavkhatena. Yatha hi kabalikaraharo ojatthamakarupaharanena rupakayam upatthambheti, evamimepi vedanadi-aharanena namakayanti. Tatha ca hontiti sadharane sahajatadipaccaye sandhayaha. Abbatha cati abbena ca ekenakarena paccaya hontiyevati aharati vuccantiti attho. Tasma aharanakiccarahitanam hetu-adhipati-adinam natthi aharabhavappasavgo. Tisso ca vedana aharatiti-adi yathasambhavavasena vuttam, na imasmimyeva citte phassadivasena. Tayo ca bhaveti kamadibhavabhutam vibbanam visesena, avisesena ca pabcupadanakkhandhe.

Arammanam upagantva nijjhayanam cintanam upanijjhayanam. Hetvatthenati upayatthena, na mulatthena.
