3 Relate actors to use- cases
Figure 11.12 also shows how actors relate to use- cases. It can be used to identify respon-
sibilities and check for missing activities. For example, ‘Check order status’ is a use- case
that is missing and the company would have to discuss whether it was acceptable for a cus-
tomer service rep to place an order for a customer who was complaining about a particular
product.
