My family

A family is one of the greatest gift god has given to all living creatures on the earth including humans. It is a privilege to have a happy family as not everyone in the world has it. The concept of family is important in Uzbekistan for every individual. Family defines an individual background in terms of social relations and growth. Families influence the lives of individuals from childhood to adulthood especially in decisions concerning life milestones like marriage and career paths. Uzbek families tend to stick to their cultural practices as a family and they maintain religious practices that cut across the family. Elders in Uzbekistan families are respected by the members of the family and their opinions are considered during decision making. Families also helping community development through contributions and participating in activities in the community. The family is important in the society in maintaining order and peace.

I am Ataxanov Abrorbek . I am twenty three years old. I want to tell you a few words about my family. My family is not large. I have got a mother , a father, a sister and a brother. There are five of us in the family.

First of all I want to tell some words about my mother. My mother is a talented homemaker who also does a part-time tailoring at home. She does all her duties with at most interest, from taking care of us to all the household chores. She is a multi-tasker and does all the tasks from helping me in my study to preparing delicious healthy foods to sculpt me into a better human being.

My mother is 46 years old. She worked as a gas office for a long time. My mother is very kind women. This character of my mother also passed on to me.

In addition, my mother is the best cook in the world. I don't know where I would be today without my mother. I love her a lot. I remember those times when she had to sacrifice the most precious things to make me happy. She is kind, caring and understanding me more than anyone else.

My father is 48 years old. He is a builder. His name is Ataxanov Akmaljon. He has visited Russia and many countries. He speaks Russia and English.

My brother is a schoolboy. He gets only excellent and good marks at school. He is good at sport. His hobby is reading books. He wants to be a lawyer in the future.

My sister is the eldest in our family. She is a nice and beautiful girl. She has a son. My nephew is very little. I like my nephew.

Right from my childhood, my family members have prepared me for the challenges that I’ll face in the years ahead. In addition to this, all of my family members help and serve each other at times of need. These qualities that I have learnt from my family have helped me to shape my adult life in a right manner.

I thank God that I have grown up in a family full of love and discipline. My family values will definitely help me in becoming a better person. Family value and growing in such a caring surrounding helps me to pass all the struggles and hardships that I face in my daily life. Whatever be the situation we are facing, our family will never leave us alone.
