“Start early! How? Select around eight schools. Three of them being
schools which you have higher gPA/SAT scores than their average, two or
three schools that you are right on average and two or three schools that are a
reach because you may be on their average or not and it’s a gamble.
“Then review when applications come out, so you can take advantage of
as much time to write the essay prompts. Think of it as an essay that will let
the admissions officer get to know you and see a true reflection of you in your
essays.
“I would also suggest to read essays and see typical essay questions so that
you can begin outlines or construct ideas of how you would answer these
questions. This will allow you to take advantage of the time and short amount
of space allowed to write as much about you.”
