Write What You K now
“My best piece of advice when writing a college admissions essay is to be
honest and reveal who you truly are. Admissions committees will see so many
of the same essays, people describing their achievements and extracurricular
activities. Choose something that makes you different, that makes you stand
out from the rest of the crowd. It is refreshing to hear something new and ex-
citing. More importantly, whatever makes you different, makes you stand out,
is probably the thing that will be easiest for you to write about. Write what
you know, reveal who you are, and make a statement.”
