JAG 2015 Tournament Policies and Schedule

2015 JAG Tournament Policies

1. 
   Deadline for entering tournaments is one week prior to the event. All entries past this date will pay an additional $5 to enter.
   
2. 
   The Boys age group 13-14 & 15-17 and Girls age group 14-17 will play 18 holes every tournament except Dixie Red Hills, Pro/Junior, and Parent/Juniors.
   
3. 
   The Boys & Girls age group 10 & under will play 6 holes every tournament except the Pro/Junior and Parent/Juniors.
   
4. 
   All other age groups will play 9 holes.
   
5. 
   Once a player has entered a tournament, no entry fee refunds will be granted.
   
6. 
   The age group is based on the age of the player as of June 1, 2014. If you turn 18 after June 1^st, you will still be eligible to play in the tournaments.
   
7. 
   No caddies will be allowed except for the 10 & under age group.
   
8. 
   Members violating association rules will be suspended from further participation.
   
9. 
   Players wishing to a suspension must submit a letter detailing the situation to a member of the JAG staff at the golf course where the incident occurred.
   
10. 
    8 out of 9 tournament scores will be counted towards player of the year standings. Either the players worst finish or a week that is missed will not be counted.
    

JAG Tournament Player of the Year Point System

At the conclusion of the summer tournament schedule, a Player of the Year Award will be given to the JAG member who accumulates the most points in each division. There will be a scorecard playoff for ties toward trophies at each given event, but the points will be averaged between the players. Player of the Year points will be awarded as follows:

2^nd 120 Runner-up: 375

3^rd 100 Semi-finalist: 250

4^th 85 Win one match: 190

5^th 75

6^th 65

7^th 50

8^th 45

2015 Tournament Series Reminders
-Tournament deadlines are 4 days prior to the event.

-If you still wish to play after deadline, you must call the proshop and you will be assessed an additional $5 fee.

-Arrive at golf course 30 minutes prior to tee time.

-If you have a child under 10 years old, we ask that you ensure there is a parent available in each group for scoring purposes. Your help is greatly appreciated.

-Top 8 scores out of 9 tournaments will be counted towards player of the year honors.

-Tee times will be posted on the JAG website, www.sgcity.org, and at the host golf course at least 1 day prior to the tournament.
