This study describes the synthesis of a composite for hemin delivery based on the 
photocatalytic activation of a semiconductor layer that is capable of inducing a local pH gradient in 
response to external electromagnetic radiation. There are shown the selection of synthesis conditions 
and the analysis of the obtained experimental results that affect the morphological and functional 
properties. 
Tissue regeneration 
in situ
is one of the main tasks of functional materials science, aimed at 
restoring functional and anatomical properties after traumatic, infectious, or degenerative diseases. 
New therapeutic approaches include the use of advanced medical devices for the controlled delivery of 
bioactive molecules or growth factors to the affected area. [
