According to Alefirenko, the following types of cultural values are widely represented in the language: vital, social, political, religious, moral, aesthetic.
Universal values are the values which are highly recognized by the majority of people (masterpieces of art, sustained morals). National values predetermine the national specificity of culture (Statue of Liberty, Big Ben). Group values unite a relatively small group of people according to their residence and age (rockers, punks). Family values include all positive family relationships and traditions (love, respect). Individual values include ideas based on personal preferences and individual perception of the durrounding world.

Imagery is characterized by its relevance to the human who is the bearer of language and culture.
