Ever since the 1978. Camp David Agreement and the 1979. peace treaty signed between Egypt and Israel, the Suez Canal has been filled with a constant Row-of maritime traffic. It is 163 km long, but still not wide enough, to accomadate modem ships sailing in opposite directions.
