The plan of lecture	Translating original stylistic devices (metaphor, metonymy, epithet, allusion, alliteration, etc.). Functional-stylistic features of the text. Translation of citations, jargons and different stylistic devices.
The aim of lesson: Providing the basic theoretical information on the problems of translation of literary texts; outlining and clarifying the main peculiarities of translation of literary texts.

Providing the theoretical data connected with the general considerations of literary texts in relation to translation studies; Describing the specific features of the problem of equivalence in the translation of emotive prose; describing the cases illustrating the flexibility and broader character of equivalence in the translation of texts belonging to belles-lettres style; Describing the cases illustrating the peculiarities of translation of original stylistic devices (metaphor, metonymy, epithet, allusion, alliteration, etc.).
