INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD thesis) 
The aim of the research work:
In the Quaternary period, the study of loess 
and soil rocks, the reasons for the formation and changes in magnetic properties in 
the geological sections of Arkutsay, Boksuk, Kadyr and Karasu in the Chirchik 
river basin. 
The object of the research work: 
Basic geological sections of Quaternary 
sediments in the upper and middle reaches of the Chirchik River are: Arkutsay, 
Boksuk, Kadyr and Karasu. 
The scientific novelty of the research 
is the following: 
In the objects of the lower and middle reaches of the Chirchik basin, the 
magnetic properties of the Quaternary period of loess rocks and soils in their 
section were determined 
in the geological section, a sharp change in the values of the magnetic 
properties of loess rocks and soils, their connection with the physico-chemical and 
chemical processes in the soil is determined 
with the help of indicators of magnetic properties, signs and diagnostic 
methods have been developed that determine the degree of variability of soils over 
time 
to determine whether loess rocks and closed layers in geological sections have 
changed over time, the magnetic permeability index is justified
