FIELD FOR THE STUDY OF PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF PERCEPTION OF 
COSSACK ETHNO-CULTURAL HERITAGE
 
В данной работе представлены результаты исследований интереса к казацкой тематике у старших 
школьников и учащихся СПТУ как часть лонгитюдных мониторинговых исследований интереса к данной 
тематике. Авторы рассказывают о просветительской деятельности “Киевской Академии Казачества”,
соучредителями и руководителями которой они являются.
Ключевые слова: просветительская деятельность, научно-популярное знание, казацкое этнокультурное 
наследие, казацкое этнокультурное пространство.
This article presents the results of studies of interest in Cossack topics in senior school and college students of 
vocational schools as part of longitudinal monitoring studies of interest in this topic. The authors talk about the 
educational activities of the Kiev Academy of Cossacks, whose Co-founders and leaders they are. 
Key words: educational activities, popular science knowledge, Cossack ethno-cultural heritage, Cossack ethno-
cultural space. 
 
Topicality: The history of each nation has its symbol and, as a rule, is identified with the life of its 
most characteristic layer, which is considered a feature of the nation. For Ukraine, such a symbolizing 
historical symbol is the Cossack phenomenon.
The Cossacks are a state of mind, an embodiment of humanity's primordial dream of freedom, 
freedom, equality and brotherhood. For us, the people of modern Ukraine, it is a historical phenomenon that 
has emerged and existed as the embryo and harbinger of a democratic society in our own territory today. 
The vibrations of our own native land gave birth to this phenomenon.
The history of Ukrainian Cossacks is one of the most striking pages in our history. Recently, interest in 
the Cossacks and its historical heritage has increased among our population, the satisfaction of which can 
be of considerable educational and educational importance.
